90 Day Fiance S01E01 I Got My Visa - TV Show

It?s a tale as old as time ? boy & girl meet, boy & girl fall in love, girl gets special visa to visit the United States, boy & girl only have 90 days to decide the rest of their lives: get married or go back home. In the new TLC series 90 DAY FIANC?, viewers follow as five couples explore the complicated world of international romance. Four of the relationships will play out through six one-hour episodes on TLC, while one relationship journey will air exclusively on TLC.com.

Season 1, Episode 1 ? ?I Got My Visa?
Premiere of a reality series in which American men meet women from other countries and have 90 days to decide if they want to get married before their visas expire.

I have not seen the show yet.

Interesting concept. I would like to see what has transpired 6 months or a year down the road. That will be the real test.

Just go to an all inclusive and watch it play out live, lol!

On a serious note... I saw the previews and I don't think I'll be watching.
I am selfish and I don't want anymore people to come here unless they have
Something important or significant to contribute to our society.

Are you of the opinion that your watching this show will cause more Americans to marry undeserving foreigners and bring them to the US?

It was an interesting Episode 1. My reason for watching was more professional than personal.

I watched it. Showed 3 of the four couples that would be featured on the show. 2 out of 3 met their fiancees on line. One guy had only spent one week with the girl. TLC obviously chose their cast wisely - to make for great ratings. Seemed to me to only reinforce the negative stereotypes. BUT, if it serves to make people re-think their situations, or at least walk into something with a little bit of background knowledge, then perhaps it might be a useful show for some.

Actually, I hope that it opens people's eyes and
they think twice before getting scammed. If it's love
Or physical attraction so be it.

Every one has the right to a better life but lying, cheating
And using people is not the way to go about it. We hear
enough of those stories here and even though some
people are naive, and put themselves out there, I don't agree with it.

This is a whole new topic. It wouldn't be a scam if the "scammed" were a little wiser, in which case it would just be a simple trade: your good looks for my money/passport/whatever. If only they had this clear from the beginning. If you think they must love you for being such a nice person then you should have no problem finding a partner back home.
I don't justify the cheating, but it is what it is, it's a tough world (and even tougher around here), so wear your fireman suit if you love to play with fire.

These are the complexities I was alluding to.
It has nothing to do with where they come from.
It boils down to where are they headed (in life).
Simple as that.

The dude who is living with his family a recipe for disaster. He should have got an apartment first. And the Morman......Need I say more. If you have to remortgage your home......Another bad move. They hand picked dues who in all likeness will fail I quess anything for ratings.
