Wendy's 2nd store in santo domingo will open up along side Sbarro pizza on N??ez de C?ceresAv. with almost the corner of Gustavo mejia recart. This is right on the other side of new Bravo supermarket.
I, personally, don't care for Sbarro pizza that much but I would drop by wendy's from time to time to degenerate my health.

I was going to take some crude fotos but the idiot behind me was in a hurry and honking me. This broke my concentration and I put the cell phone camera away. There are temporary walls to cover the construction site. I imagine the plaza is almost ready to open up for business. lets see if they will have specials.
Speaking of specials:
buy cylindrical container of lays chips (nacional = 77 pesos and Jumbo supermarket= 59 pesos), you will receive a coupon to redeem it for a free whopper Junior at any burger king location in the country. Just ate 2 this afternoon.

Before 2007 they (Wendy's) were all over Santo Domingo, I wonder why they closed their doors then, and chose to open again?
Anyone knows?

The financial crisis had much to do with that. The franchise is now being managed by Frank Rainieri's son.

While we're still talking about fast food, the Hach? are building the first Dominican Johnny Rockets restaurant on avenida Lincoln. Everyone that has eaten in a JR in other places has said that those are the best hamburgers they've eating anywhere; but I haven't eaten one yet, can't speak from experience, for now at least.
