I suggest if you want to know about a place go and visit it yourself. My preferences when I used to go out was El Sertan, Casibajuaga, in the Zona Colonial and Café de Toi for after hours. I also liked Car Washes but had to do a quick escape from one once. I went to all these places alone.

Tell us about it …any details or tips or reviews
I would suggest you go and check it out. For me personally I like the location near Parque Mirador Sur. Their restaurant El Jardin was pretty good. The rooms were renovated a few years ago (not that long ago). Been to a few weddings that have been held at the hotel.

I went to the Jaragua bar 2 times in my younger days. Once spoke a few nice men that I first met at a DR1 gathering at the sports bar in the Jaragua. They wanted me to be a drug mule because it would be easy cause I had an American passport. I was nervous so asked for their number and said I'd think about it and get back to them ( never thought or got back to them).

Second time a good looking man in a nice suit bought me a drink. Then he thought he had a right to put his hands on me. I pretended I had a phone call and told him I had to get home. I paid for my own drink and had to pull my arm from his grip to get away from him.

Got taxi out of there fast both times
That place is full of the lowest of the lows.
Concur in most gambling establishments there are shady people in other words dirtbags who lost their money and now the next best thing is trying to get your money

omg talk about a buzz kill

adding here: it doesn't matter anyway the customer service is so poor across the entire city, it can ruin even a Michelin star rating

Hijo if you keep criticising my posts I will have to put you in the naughty corner. Then again you would probably prefer it there.

Asking a sensible question is not a buzz kill

Maybe you need employees MiamiGuy. I have a haitian house cleaner, maybe you need one with all these expectations you have for the DR1 members doing your footwork on top of your smart ass-ed-ness. You sound like apo', oops I mean Rey🤣
I may be wrong, but I get the feeling there is not a lot of 20 something's here that are into the club/disco/rave scene.

Thanks to everyone
This. I see post now getting off the point since I was asking a simple question but I only got 2 or 3 answers, rest are garbage posts. I rest my case and no further assistance is required.
Glad to help. Closed.
