I've asked two "old" people what this is and they don't know. Can you give some kind of reference as to what it might be?

caicurimba

What does 'caicurimbo' (?) mean?

m'frog

La cosa se est? poniendo caicurimba...

the expression means dangerous, dark, difficult...

Would like to look into its etymology, maybe its from the Taino, or even or African origin. There's a similar expression, "la cosa se est? poniendo color de hormiga".

Dear Mountainfrog.
Im not 100% sure of this but I think "El Tigre" is refering to a man that is known for chasing after women. Again not 100% sure. Hope this helps!!

Wife Agrees

....the expression means dangerous, dark, difficult...
My wife says that's mas ? menos the meaning, yes.
Something fishy, of which one doesn't know the outcome,
has one's doubts, etc.

..."la cosa se est? poniendo color de hormiga".
That, she says, is when things take a turn for the worse, go bad...

Thanks for your help, Mirador.
