the expression means dangerous, dark, difficult...



Would like to look into its etymology, maybe its from the Taino, or even or African origin. There's a similar expression, "la cosa se est? poniendo color de hormiga".

Im not 100% sure of this but I think "El Tigre" is refering to a man that is known for chasing after women. Again not 100% sure. Hope this helps!!

Something fishy, of which one doesn't know the outcome,
has one's doubts, etc.

..."la cosa se est? poniendo color de hormiga".

That, she says, is when things take a turn for the worse, go bad...

what does picalunga mean?

i dont know what the correct spelling is.my friends in boca chica told me to say it to the vendors when we were on the beach.
picalunga? or it could have been picalonga.
