They do not exist.....sorry!!!!!

Really, I've been married to a Dominicana since 1999 and she's an open book. My mother-in-law has a well earned reputation for honesty. I know a few others as well. Just because you choose to hang with low hanging fruit doesn't mean all Dominicans are that way. Perhaps it\s the laws of mutual attraction.

i know a handful of decent dominicans. still, it does not change my perception of the rest of the population. because most of the people i know are not the kind of individuals i would like to be friends with. and no, it's not the "laws of mutual attraction", it's the people like the clients in the pharmacy. you can hardly say that only **** and **** shopped there because they were attracted to my nasty self.

BOB< I think that LOTS of men, from all over the Globe, Have "Invested" money in this girl!!!!
She LOVES him, her Mother LOVES him, her Father LOVES him, her Grand mother LOVES him.
It's obvious that he has never been hustled by a family of Dominicanos before!!!!
They are very good, some make a good living just with the "Hustle"!
Her "Brother" who is always in the home, is her "Chulo" the minute he leaves!
Her "Mami" even calls him "Mi Hijo"!!!!
I dearly hope the "OP" will continue to post after he finally realizes what is going on.
Most just disappear in their shame, never to post again.
This story has more "Twists & Turns" than the old road from Moca to the North Coast!
I've "Ridden" on BOTH of them!

CRISS, I am probably going to tell you something that you have heard many times before but I got to say it anyway. You have probably been hurt very badly either as a child or adult and never recovered. Your obsession with woman not being faithful is dis-heartning because you want other to feel shamed and have little worth. Shame on you CRISS. Assumptions have nothing to do with truth as I know it so far, if that truth changes in the future then so be it.

Honestly, I am not making an idle threat but it is easy to hide behind a keyboard and spout out the things you say but If you said something like that to me in person, I would knock you on your ass. And if you were right about it eventually, I would still knock you on your ass because this is about RESPECT.

We are have broken areas of our lives to deal with and it is evident that your no different...

Bob, wealthy in the U.S. is different from being wealthy here. An engineer here may make what, equivalent to a $1000.00 month U.S. That is NOT wealthy. Something doesn't add up with this situation, that's all.

Being naturally contrarian, I would say, why do you say he's no different and the girl is no different. The OP has already stated the family are very well off and the girl is an engineer. Even in the DR becoming an engineer takes brains, hard work...etc. SO WHAT IS THE SET-UP AND HOW IS HE BEING USED?
The girl may be BAT-**** crazy, and that's the issue.

The thing that is sad about the internet is that is full of trolls who hide behind their keyboards, making a joke out of other's peoples experience. REAL MEN don't do that; good men don't need to....

I was using the term wealthy or well off as in compared to the average person in the DR. I probably should have used the term middle class.

sad thing is also that you wrote about your experience online, instead of talking to a friend. and so what? let people be who they want to be.

I was being confidential by not using any specific identifying information. And I NEVER once asked anyone for advice or what I should do. But I am thankful for the people who answered with heartfelt responses, for everyone else, you guys live in a world that I can't relate to. There is nothing good or edifying that drops from your lips. I actually feel sorry for any decent girl there in the DR who hooks up with men like that.......

Although its not clear to me how they met, the OP's loca clearly seems to meet HB's standards as to background and income (engineer from well to do family).
Nevertheless, it seems the OP is being given the same heave-ho as an old gringo who pursues a hot broken down barrio rat.
The only clear issue I see is the mental stability of his chica.... Seems nobody is asking the OP to fork over dough and the family "warned" the OP that the hija was loca....Not the makings of the typical set-up IMHO.
That said, crazy is a deal breaker.

there is nothing in your world that i can relate to either, i don't get hooked on dominican flesh 15 years my junior. nor with someone with a case of lust rage. and did something good and edifying dropped from your lips? then it must have been lots in all the condescending and pompous speech you just served us.

Maybe this DR Forum attracts certain type of men but I have been to the Philippines, been on forums for Philippines and the RESPECT level is so different. The men don't talk about Filipino woman like they are all trash. The people on the forum show genuine empathy and respect....While there are tons of things that are wrong in PI and there is SEX Tourism, those issues are not obsessed on like they are here. Shame on you guys (You know who I am talking about!).

I know a little bit how much money people of different professions make. I know personally a few engineers, architects, doctors, computer engineers, building contractors, store owners, farmers, large landholders, politicians....etc. What doesn't add up?

Since it appears that you are not receptive to the vast spectrum of advice (mostly from experienced DR1ers), maybe you'd be a better fit by going back to your "LBFM" site, and airing your dirty laundry there. Just sayin.

Hey ROLLY BUDDY, I get it...Crazy don't work and it's best to leave. What I think is disrespectful is all the side bar comments about money, sex, being used etc.....that isn't advice that's people being idiots.

OK tough guy. First you get bamboozled by a Dominican chica that claims she is an engineer and has sold you a line about her catastrophic childhood in her attempt to garner more attention from you.
Now you are claiming to be Johnny Righteous and kick azz because "guys are hiding behind their keyboard" and dissing you and woman of the world.
I am confident now that I have identified the volatile instigator in this soap opera !!

P.S The girl is not an Engineer, unless you consider doing nails at the salon and sewing in hair extensions civil engineering.

Perhaps her book and her other things... are open.... since you keep an open checkbook to go with it.
Did you look into that....or do you want someone else to look into it for you?

Dream on.....
