The judges of the First Collegiate Court of the National District postponed to 30 September the hearing regarding the six involved in the Odebrecht US$92 million bribery case. Judge Gissel Pérez Méndez presides the court that is hearing the accusations against Angel Rondón, Víctor Díaz Rúa, Conrado Pittaluga, Andrés Bautista, Roberto Rodríguez and Tommy Galán. The case was postponed after defendants presented several motions regarding the inhibition to carrying the case formalized by Attorney General Miriam Germán, and regarding the prosecutors assigned to the case. Likewise, counsel for defendants presented motions for the court to withdraw the accusations.



Meanwhile, the new director of the Anti-Government Corruption Agency (Pepca), Wilson Camacho revealed that former Attorney General Jean Alain Rodríguez had permanently filed the cases. This means the...

before they´re ever sentenced for this heist.
