That’s a bit of a stretch considering that less than 50% of the population are fully vaccinated. Tourism is their main source of income and their numbers are way down since the pandemic began. It’s a desperate measure but it may work.
The DR has a much better vaccination rate. Maybe they should use the same tourist promotion approach.
