The Metropolitan Office of Bus Services (OMSA) announced the public transport buses would not be running over the weekend of Saturday, 9 January and Sunday, 10 January 2021 due to the curfew schedule. By Decree 740-20, the Abinader administration has reduced commercial activities from 5am to 12 noon. The longer curfew seeks to contain the spike in Covid-19 cases, a consequence of the increased mobility for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The present bus schedule is from 6am to 5pm through 8 January 2021.
