Online purchases are now automatically taxed

I then changed my shipping address to Florida and it still states NO TAX.
Maybe I need to actually place the order or my account has me as items being exported.
I have made two separate orders on Amazon this month and both had taxes added. My shipping address is CPS Miami. Hope something can be done about this as I buy so much on Amazon!

I would suggest you contact Amazon and inform them that the CPS Miami address is a freight forwarder (Exporter) so they can put it in their system.
... or switch to using BMCargo.
My address looks exactly same as yours. The only difference is BM-xxxxx number and my name, of course. It still adds the new tax.
BTW your original post states: Effective July 1, 2020 eBay .....
I guess it was a typo. Should be 2021 of course.

If an Amazon third party seller is located in Florida, you have to pay Florida sales tax. Also, if the Amazon distribution center from which the item is shipped is in Florida, you have to pay the sales tax.
BM Cargo sent an *email in February giving 3 Doral address format options that must be used for Amazon orders. I went to their office and they corrected mine for me.

My shopping cart shows the tax, same address as yours. This is not Amazon Prime, it's 3rd party seller on Amazon, not located in Miami, free shipping. There was no tax before July 1st.

I tried this item as well. It was 9.15 plus .64 tax. How odd that Bred got a different price.
