Rumor has it that Live Nation has sold out 170,000 tickets to a live event in the UK (?) with no restrictions on crowds. This is based on data regarding vaccinations to be completed by such time.
Obviously, the DR would bode well with a like an similar program.

I'm concerned that the DR, the country I now live in, is falling well behind in the race to get this crap over with.

DR and other developing nations won't see restrictions be lifted until mid 2022, way after northern countries open up.

I shared a world map the other day that shows a timeline of openings worldwide and DR was scheduled for mid 2022 while Europe and North America late 2021 the latest.
Don't hold your breath.

Not DR related. Nice try though : )

Excerpt:

"Earlier this week, the British government, buoyed by early good news on a brisk roll-out of vaccinations in the UK, set out a roadmap that, as things stand, would see the re-opening of large music events in the UK, with no audience limit, on June 21.

Live Nation and its subsidiary, Festival Republic, didn’t hang about after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson made this announcement on Monday (February 22).

The companies quickly announced that their Reading & Leeds festival – an annual fest taking place across two locations in the UK with a combined capacity of around 180,000 – would be going ahead between August 27 and 29 this year, and that tickets were on sale."

Live Nation just sold 170,000 tickets to UK music festivals this summer (musicbusinessworldwide.com)
