Clever and honest business Dominican people ?? There are some very good people in the professions especially in specialist medical fields but I am scratching my head to recall ever meeting any honest decent business people.

We are trying to get the mods to move this to a new thread. They seem reluctant which is somewhat understandable.

I interact with them daily. In fact, I have found though not impossible, it's rare to get charged gringo prices. Most Dominicanos/as I deal with are honest to a fault.

I do not think there could be anything accurate written in a thread about the supposed movers and shakers or influential people with interests in the DR. Just a lot uninformed speculative gossip and most of it would have to scrubbed out. Only The old money names are well known .
