Hi Deb: I don't think they have one. I went to two different areas on the "Debbie's Dominican Travel Page". The Paradise actually has there own page through Debbie's "links" and it shows a phone and fax number but no e-mail address. At another area there is a long list of all of the resorts, some list e-mail address and some don't ... Paradise did not. When are you going? We are going the last two weeks of Feb. We were there 2 years ago but stayed at the Playa Naco. If you havn't checked out Debbie's Dominican Travel page you must, it's excellent!!

Thanks Karina. I checked DebbiesDominicanTravel and I also looked at Paradise's page and couldn't find the address either :( That's why I was hoping someone here might know it.

I'm going on January 13th for one week...I want to add another week, but my travel agent is trying to charge me double the amount he charged for the first week. So, I wanted to check with the hotel to see how much they charge for an extra week and I want it in e-mail format so I have proof.

I stayed at Playa Naco in September...I hear that Paradise is much nicer...I let you know how the 2 compare when I get back :)

Could you check a couple of things

for me while you're there please? We have booked a suite, could you let me know what you think is a good location, the building number and room number possibly? Don't want to be in a heavy traffic area, ie on the path to and from the disco! Something sort of central, with a view?? Could you suggest a couple of spots please? (Two other couples are travelling with us, and we'd all prefer NOT to have our rooms together. Please find out if the bars stock Canadian Rye Whiskey (for a travelling companion). My husband turns 60 (ouch)(a very young 60) on our first full day there. I was hoping to e-mail the resort to see if something could be planned ahead, like a birthday cake at dinner, or Happy Birthday sang at the bar in the afternoon, or something. If you have time and want to, perhaps you could check with one of the Tour Reps to see if and how I could pre-plan something. Perhaps I could e-mail a Rep, whatever..... Could you find out from a couple of the most popular, regular bartenders what they would like to have from Canada? We always take stuff to give away. Already have some baseball mitts, good used men's runners, dolls, kids clothes etc. Anything else you might suggest I'd be glad I took, either personally or for others. I plan on taking Cdn currency and converting to RD pesos. (don't like going from Cdn to US to pesos) However, I do take a bunch of US $1 bills as quick tips. Do they prefer to get US, or pesos. I don't imagine you see any Cdn currency used. Any other info on the resort would be most appreciated. Are there slot machines in the casino that only take US currency?? Thanks and have a great trip!

Re: Could you check a couple of things

Karina;

One point only. We were told that CDN toonies and loonies are no good to the people in DR as the banks wont touch them so your idea of taking US $1 for tips is a good one. Some things you get there are worth a CDN $5 but that does stretch the budget.

Enjoy

Re: Could you check a couple of things

I'll try to find out as much info as I can for you. I've printed your questions and will put the page in my luggage tonight so I won't forget.

I'm assuming you're Canadian, but if you're not disregard this info...if you see any Blue Jays stuff (ie hats, tees, etc) on sale while you're doing your Boxing Week shopping, pick some up...you can either give it away or you could even trade it for goods from the beach vendors. The guys love the Jays :)
