Some time ago we made "homemade pepper spray" (long story why...lol) and put in bottles like this:

How good did it spray? It says mist. This type of thing is what I'd prefer. I can make a leather holder for something like this to attach toy neck key thingy.

If you are bringing in Pepper Spray from the US you need to know this.

Pepper spray is allowed in checked bags, but not in carry-ons. The TSA permits one 4-ounce container of pepper spray per passenger in checked luggage, as long as it has a safety mechanism to prevent accidental discharge. Sprays containing more than 2% tear gas are prohibited in checked baggage.

Does this mean they open up your bag to check it for a safety mechanism and the 2%? Not such a good idea to do this either............

I think it sprayed pretty good, like a body spray would. We made the spray with a little baby oil (so it would stick on someone when sprayed) liquid cayenne/capsaicin and vinegar. At least that is what I remember using.
