Are you suggesting that you don't get taxed if over $200.00? If so, then one should choose their pleasure based on that metric? BTW, aren't you in slow drift away from the OP?There are a lot of men's colognes under $200.0 which are more than respectful. Not sure where you are getting your information from.
Answering the OP question about perfume/cologne and pricing is on topic. I mentioned nothing about taxes. If you are traveling the Duty Free is a good place to obtain perfume/cologne. All this is on topic. Do you have anything else to add?Are you suggesting that you don't get taxed if over $200.00? If so, then one should choose their pleasure based on that metric? Ah I love the smell of fresh (or not so fresh) diesel in the morningDo not worry about cologne.
If you decide on living in the city, your skin will develop an oily layer about 12 mn after you arrive there---and you think i am kidding ? I am not.
In the campo, however, it is tradition to whip a new arrival with aloe vera every morning for 2 years...... so no worries you will always smell good 😄

A few issues with that and ordering via Amazon to DR
2- any cologne/perfume that’s respectful costs over $200
3- probably will take 2 months to get to you
You can get lots of perfumes for women way less than $200.Struggling to agree with this. Even top end ladies perfumes like Tom Ford or Chanel you can pick up for under $200 for a 50ml bottle. Also the shipping companies are very efficient and it's very rare for something to be stolen. I have lived here over 10 years and import several times a week and never lost anything.
Zara has several really nice perfumes which are very reasonably priced and are only available in their stores. I've bought these for a lot of friends and they really like them.
Any reputable store will also only sell legit. Carrefour for example won't sell fake perfume. I'd be surprised if a pharmacy like Carol would sell fake as well.
I wear Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme for men. I've never seen it for sale outside of Europe or USA so I order it online and have shipped down here via EPS

It's the original D&G (dark) Blue.Do you buy the "you toilet", the "Blue light", or the "Intense?" TBH, I still use "Brut"
Everyone of us has gotten into an elevator with an woman (usually past 60) who dumped her stinky sweet perfume on herself. And you ask yourself - what is she trying to mask ?I like the natural perfume a clean and clean living woman has. I like sutle perfumes or colognes that you arent still smelling 10 feet away from the person wearing them.
