They have good pizzas in Las Terrenas as well.
Wish I had your tip a few days ago when I was in Boca de Yuma. I will make a note of it.I prefer the North American chain pizza to Dominican Pizza but I have found some good local Pizza.
Venezia in Bavaro, El Arponero in Boca de Yuma and Noah's in Bavaro are all quite good. If you try any of these be careful and watch your bill at Noah's, the other 2 are very fair.
Try to Remember...You’re right, I’d forgotten. I don’t remember the place we stayed at, but it was owned by Italians, and they had a restaurant on the premises that opened nightly for dinner. The food was fantastic
The fact that she said Taiwan and China was the same should had told you that she was from China. No Taiwanese would ever say that.LOL, no, a knife and fork. Interesting side note...The duena spoke Spanish (imagine the accent). I asked her if she was from Taiwan or China. She simply shrugged her shoulders and said "lo mismo, como Santiago y Santo Domingo". The look of shock on my face must have tipped her off to my nationality. She looked away from me and said "Canton". I ate my meal and never went back.

I have been to Punta Italia in Bavaro. Years ago. It was good. There is also a Punta Italia in the capital on Lincoln. Very good to.Agree on Venezia, but even better is Punta Italia across from Noah near the street.
Its has to be the cost of the corn they put on it.A question for restaurant owners. Ok, here in Toronto and average non-franchise pizza place has at least 2 employee, the chef and the counter, in most case delivery driver too. so that's at least $15.000 a months in payroll, the rent is at least $3.000, plus utilities are another $1.500, so almost $20.000 overhead. In DR your average place has at most $5.000, probably way less. Say the ingredients run you the same, how can a pizza in DR be more expensive than in Toronto?
exactly.Agree on Venezia, but even better is Punta Italia across from Noah near the street.
