I actually saw one at Sirena yesterday for 4500 DOP. It sounds too cheapJust throw some in your air fryer and cover them with Sriracha sauce.
Grab it. You'll thank me later.I actually saw one at Sirena yesterday for 4500 DOP. It sounds too cheap
So I went back for the spicy wings. They have 5 flavors total, 2 of which are spicy. They had traditional spicy and ghost pepper. I tried the ghost pepper. Somehow I order 12 instead of 6, so I will enjoy them for dinner and lunch. If they have spicy wing, then yea I go back.
I had the Ninja Air Fryer Max shipped from Amazon. It was a wonderful addition to my cookery armory. I’m sure someone in Cabarete is very happy with it 🤣
I didn't go up that far. Next time! My underwater phone sack was on the 3rd.Dumb question: Is Chili's still on the 4th floor?
PriceSmart sells the Ninja dual air fryer, it works out cheaper to buy from there than to ship from the US. Also Alyss sells quite a nice range of higher-end gadgets, again cheaper than getting them from Amazon and shipping.
Maria, what's your opinion on Casa Cuesta vs. Price Smart and Alyss? Thanks!PriceSmart sells the Ninja dual air fryer, it works out cheaper to buy from there than to ship from the US. I buy from all three. Casa Cuesta and Pricesmart have good websites so it's easy to check their stock. Alyss doesn't but it's a good option.Maria, what's your opinion on Casa Cuesta vs. Price Smart and Alyss? Thanks!
Pricesmart delivers. Their same day service only costs 290 pesos in the Distrito Nacional. I use it all the time. When you figure in the amount and value of your time, the wear and tear on your vehicle, and especially the fuel consumed driving to and from Pricesmart, and finally the inconvenience of the entire trip, buying on Amazon and having it delivered to my door is worth it. (and cheaper)
I can tell you mine.I buy from all three. Casa Cuesta and Pricesmart have good websites so it's easy to check their stock. Alyss doesn't but it's a good option.
If you like Casa Cuesta you would like Unidos also. But not in Santiago.......I can tell you mine.
Casa Cuesta here in Santiago has a nice selection of books on Art, Design and DR Provinces.
They also carry a selection of home goods on par with say... Macy's in the USA.
I went to PriceSmart Monday morning with "GaryExpat" before heading back up to Sosua
with him for the day. Their selection is mostly quality goods shipped in from the USA
and the prices are comparable to what you might see in Sams or BJs Wholesale back home.
Alyss is hit or miss. I bought new plates, bowls and glassware from them back in 2021.
Nice design, good quality, fair prices. Add La Sirena, Ikea and Tienda Solo a $10.00 to the list
and you basically have my entire apartment furnished with appliances.
I am hopeful when the new super mall/ hotel plaza they are building at the corner of Av. Duarte y Estrella Sadhala
opens it will include a Popeyes as I only travel down to the Capital about once a year.
News just came in, Popeye's will open 3rd location in Santo Domingo at Shell gas station on Av. Independencia #1803. This will replace KFC so seems more growing fast food now. This screenshot shows where it will be located at.

I wonder who owns each franchise?
