News just came in, Popeye's will open 3rd location in Santo Domingo at Shell gas station on Av. Independencia #1803. This will replace KFC so seems more growing fast food now. This screenshot shows where it will be located at.

According to the grape vine, they are in negotiations with possibly opening one in Santiago Center. It could be their first in that city.

I think Santiago Center is suppose to open at the end of the year or maybe next year.

Instead of bringing ice to eskimos, why not open more Taco Bells instead? I'd like a Taco Bell (and a Trader Joe's) on the north coast.
