Thats an interesting change. Now all run by foreigners.

In Decree 519-10, President Fernandez replaced Lorenzo Ventura at EdeSur with Brazilian Marcelo Rogelio Silva Iribarne, Ruben Bichara of EdeEste with Chilean Francisco Leiva Landabur, and at EdeNorte, Felix Tavarez was replaced by Chilean Eduardo Saavedra Pichardo.

This ought to be interesting. Maybe LF is finally getting serious about the embarassing electricity problems.

My question is this must have been in the works for a while. or these foreigners were already living here???

Over the years I've met several South Americans who are high-ranking execs in the Edes or consultants, so it's nothing new whatsoever.
