Preparing to Enter the DR

I have a vacation coming up and I haven't been to the country in a few years. I was surprised to see this online E-Ticket requirement to enter and depart from the country.

I'm really out of the loop these days, so I'm just wondering if there's anything else I should be doing or be aware of prior to enter the DR? What about needing to buy a tourist card?

Make sure that you use the free Dominican E-Ticket site. No more tourist cards, it's included in your airfare.

I need to correct my return ticket and get an error msg when I try to access ticket.Any tips please!

Make sure you have the eticket QR code, you will need to show this to your airline to check in. But as it's all electronic, you won't need to show the e-ticket on arrival in DR, as all the data will be uploaded into their systems, they will just know whether you've completed it or not.

Another thing to note about DR is that it's way more expensive to buy food, in supermarkets or in restaurants, than it used to be. If you haven't been for a few years you'll get quite a nasty surprise if you have to buy any food.

Fill a new one, as soon as the new one is in the system the previous one is voided.

Had to spend like half an hour to fill in the damn thing.
Did the entry part and then at the end it gives you the option to also add the exit data.
Did that, saved the thing. Looked it up again and my exit date was the same as the entry date.
I figured I must have filled it in wrong and corrected it. Saved it. Looked it up.....again the same entry date as exit date.
In the end I just made two new ones: one for entry and one for exit.
Oh, and the link to the instructions how to fill it in? 'Page not found'.....Typical....
