Although transnational crime is a problem, I haven't noticed a great deal of terrorism in the DR.

I have a feeling DR wouldn't permit this type of ideology. (Which is why I love DR).

The biggest terrorism threat is a Dominican woman going mad.
Got that right. I wasn’t directly in the firing line but I witnessed one of my friends being put in his place by his DR woman. Put the fear of God in me. A elite squad of angry DR women could do major damage to terrorists.

The DR Air Force does track offshore illegal drug runners as part of their war against international crime. I can see more of a focus on that but funding spent on anti terrorist activity might be better spent on internal criminal activities.

One of my neighbours is a retired Canadian Forces colonel. Three tours in Afghanistan. He was part of an international military group sent to train DR Air Force officers. He was impressed with their professionalism.
