President Abinader heads to Santiago and Mao

President Luis Abinader announces he will be in Santiago and Mao on Wednesday and Thursday. On his agenda in Santiago are meetings with city and town mayors, the North Association of Industries (AIREN), inaugurating the La Herradura aqueduct in La Canela, meetings with city neighborhood board presidents, and in Mao the inauguration of the 911 emergency system.

Vice President Raquel Peña and cabinet ministers are accompanying the President on the trip to Santiago and Mao.

I read an article yesterday that said
Abel Martinez (Mayor of Santiago)
wasn't in attendance for this meeting.
They actually said he "skipped" the
meeting. I wish he would leave the PLD
and join the current party in office.. if possible.

Abinader's team is exploring the idea of
having a skytrain/ monorail system here in
Santiago. I'm all for it.
