I am seeing trucks now going in and out of the new Cabarete Country Club project entrance just west of Costa Azul across from El Rocon. Hopefully they will finish the 1.5 Km wall between La Cienaga and the golf course soon.

I wouldn't call those "Villas". And a payment plan should be based on construction progress.
You would not call them villas because they are only "semi" detached?

Sosua Ocean Village has run out of ocean front, so now they expand in a big way going a bit inland with Laguna City:

Off topic but man, theres a lot of abandond properties half completed vacant certian areas of Sosua,, Whats up with the Player puerto chiquito complex looks run down and abandoned Any history buffs that can give a back ground story ?

I'm just going to say it out loud - I can't believe that people are paying these prices for the villas on the highway - but when you compare the prices to the all the new stuff about to come online, they are a deal.

And wait here are more being built about 150 yards from me and the next lot of land west of Mareal in Cabarete which abuts La Cienaga Road. Ya gotta believe...

They filled in calche about 6 feet high and now the land is level with route 5 in Cabarete (aka the main highway). I downloaded the brochure but it has no pricing in it for Travieso in Cabarete.


It ain't beachfront !!

You can see their pricing if you look at the units on the real estate agents websites - they are impressive renderings, and I think it's in the 450,000 range. I wonder if they will have all the trees that they show in the renderings.

Of note - it doesn't' look like the wave in Encuentro is starting it's second phase - which is all the one bedroom units. Is that the first project to be delayed?

I am not familiar with what happened to Wave at Encuentro as yet.
