They have taken a huge bite out of the mountain, but hard to say what percentage of destruction they are at.

That’s the same, but now seem it will be widened entirely except in a few areas. They have been working on it for a while. In fact, this was last October when they were still chiseling the mountains.

That's some intriguing news! I really hope the expansion will enhance safety and efficiency for the route while keeping environmental impact to a minimum. By the way, I seem to have missed the details about when it’s set to be completed.

It will be done around when the Cabarete bypass and Sosua Beach Plazas are done. It has been under way for a long time, no? Well maybe sooner than the non-existing Cabarete Bypass project.

I could not watch all of the video. I have taken that drive more times than I can remember over the years. Thankfully far less frequently in past years as friends and relatives up that way have moved to the USA in search of a better life or passed away. Little reason to go back there any more.

I would say the hill part will be done as soon as they can. They have literally moved the mountain.
