Great story. Very happy for him and hope he mentors other Dominican kids to follow in his footsteps.
I don't know about other teams, but I know that the Cardinals require a prospect in their academy here in Boca Chica to attend high school classes that are held at the academy. I think that's a great idea and would assume the classes are first rate.
