Punta Cana to get a Central Park

President Luis Abinader and Tourism Minister David Collado were in Punta Cana on Saturday, 17 July 2021 for the start of construction of Punta Cana’s Central Park with a 52-office corporate building and 424 apartment buildings in 13 buildings along the new park area of 6,000 m2. The park stretch is inspired by New York’s Central Park. It calls for a US$37 million investment. Businesses operating in Downtown Punta Cana include Coco Bongo, Dolphin Discovery, Hard Rock. Coming soon are 365 Club Experience, M-Parne Restaurant and Kooza by Cirque du Soleil.

Present for the activity were Luis Francis Moreno and Luis Francis Villegas for Downtown Punta Cana.The Downtown Punta Cana executives also announced the construction of 390 hotel rooms with the Garden Inn Hilton brand, a Moxy by Marriott and a Hodelpa Garden Court.
