A report in Diario Libre focuses on complaints that the tender approved by the Ministry of Education to supply e-devices to public school children has major irregularities that would cost the Dominican government RD$1.3 billion more. Suppliers protested the tender and the Procurement Agency put the purchase of many lots of the e-devices on hold.

The Ministry of Education sued the Procurement Agency on the matter.

The e-devices case is now under review in the Superior Administrative Court, the court that reviews government actions.

Diario Libre highlights that the suppliers of allotments that were cleared have only delivered 17% of their commitments.
