60 gl bottle ? Is this bottle just for the water heater ?The big bottle about once a year. If we use the Jacuzzi a lot than the big bottle lasts 6 month.

not 60 gl ! this one:60 gl bottle ? Is this bottle just for the water heater ?
I asked the OP a question in post 3, but have no reply. The reason for the question was that a water heater is rather simple, so not sure why several plumbers would not have figured it out. We know of an electrician and used to know a good plumber, but without knowing what the heater is/is not doing, not sure what helps. Unless it's to fix a leak, I'm even sure what is the there to "troubleshoot" with a simple water heater for a plumber? Now, if the heater is a more complicated one, with several valves like back home, then it's a different thing, but I doubt it? In any case, no reply from the OP...One last time. Here's the question:
"Can anyone recommend someone in Puerto Plata to repair my bathroom water heater?"
How long does the gas last before you have to refill ?
but inconsistent, so a gas/propane inline heater is a viable option that is readily availableWhich is why I am asking AE specifically because she has a propane system.....which in my opinon for this country is very impractical when electricity is cheap
I have an inverter which takes care of both issues ( inconsistent power and my hot water heater )but inconsistent, so a gas/propane inline heater is a viable option that is readily available
This is now going severely off-topic, but you do realize that an inverter must first convert A/C to D/C and then reverse the same process, so for that part the "cheap energy" part is not so valid anymore. There is a formula to calculate the kwh amount a gas has (I know this as our house had a gas heating in EU and I had to know exactly what kind of bill to expect), which you could then compare with the kwh price of electricity, but there is a reason those are widely used. We had one installed by the landlord in a house we lived in. I want to say that if you do the comparison, warm water heated with gas is cheaper even in the DR, but again, I don't have the calculations at hand, just based on experience.I have an inverter which takes care of both issues ( inconsistent power and my hot water heater )
The EU is not the DR I'm sure electricity is far more expensive in Europe.....and until you figure out the calculations your comment that water heated with gas even here in the DR iis cheaper s your opinion not fact.....to which i disagreeThis is now going severely off-topic, but you do realize that an inverter must first convert A/C to D/C and then reverse the same process, so for that part the "cheap energy" part is not so valid anymore. oldschool is correctly named. Most electric hot water tanks here are poorly constructed and have a tendency to sludge up and rust out.The EU is not the DR I'm sure electricity is far more expensive in Europe.....and until you figure out the calculations your comment that water heated with gas even here in the DR iis cheaper s your opinion not fact.....to which i disagree
Agree 100%......but the salt air disen't help with the rust and the unfiltrated water doesn't help with the sludge.....island livinoldschool is correctly named. Most electric hot water tanks here are poorly constructed and have a tendency to sludge up and rust out.
True 100%. Once i used one that blow up while we were away for two days. For the Damage that the running water caused yo can buy a small car. NEVER EVER I WILL USE ONE AGAIN.oldschool is correctly named. Most electric hot water tanks here are poorly constructed and have a tendency to sludge up and rust out.
I generally trust no water fixtures here at all. We don't leave the house with any valves open. In case of having our own pump, the pump is shut off before leaving. We've never had any accident like that, sorry to hear about that.True but they are also totally cheap. Once i used one that blow up while we were away for two days. For the Damage that the running water caused yo can buy a small car. NEVER EVER I WILL USE ONE AGAIN.
Me too. ( though someone was in the house when it happened )....that's when you couldn't always leave them on there was a switch wirh a red light usually in your house that's was installed to turn it off and on.....nowadays they don't have that issue but 20 years ago seguroTrue but they are also totally cheap. No, this is not the EU, the only reason I mentioned it was the fact that there I had to do the math for gas kwh content due to forecasting billing. The EU is not the DR I'm sure electricity is far more expensive in Europe.....and until you figure out the calculations your comment that water heated with gas even here in the DR iis cheaper s your opinion not fact.....to which i disagree
I think you need to get outside moreWhich is why I am asking AE specifically because she has a propane system.....which in my opinon for this country is very impractical when electricity is cheap
But there only 12000 pesos and yes the quality of Dominican water heaters makes Chinese products look good.oldschool is correctly named. Most electric hot water tanks here are poorly constructed and have a tendency to sludge up and rust out.
