Road to Valle Nuevo

We attempted the road to Salto Aguas Blancas and Valle Nuevo today in a Toyota Rush and could not reach either place. The sides of the road to the waterfall have fallen in and narrowed the road. The road to Valle Nuevo is closed beyond the entrance to El Salto for construction unless you have a real 4x4.

Better to park in Constanza and arrange for a local tour guide to take you in their 4 by 4. I have been there twice in my Santa Fe but for the wear and tear on both your vehicle and nerves better to hire local.

Yes and don't take a wrong turn as we did years ago. It was quite an adventure.
Ended up in the middle of nowhere. Luckily got towed out by a 4x4 club who happened to be passing by. Incredibly beautiful part of the country.Paradise.
