If you've researched coming to the southwest, you may have come across our blog, Cliff & Cove. We have quite a few articles about places in the south, how to get there, what to see, and travel tips. We've lived in Barahona for over 10 years, so we know a thing or two about the area (but there is still much to learn
) We've been actively sharing information with our followers and subscribers for the last 3 years, and we hope to keep providing reliable information and resources.
For anyone who has been wanting to come to the south and explore (and doesn't feel like doing all of the research themselves), we have curated and are selling an itinerary for a 5-day road trip from Santo Domingo to Bahia de las Águilas. The itinerary includes where to stop, recommendations for accommodations and meals, tour guide recommendations, a Google map to follow and more! It's customizable if you want to make it shorter or longer, but it's a great place to start when you want to visit one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic.
