For my two it was a pretty normal year. They had to wear masks in class all the time but that was the only thing. They go to a private school in the capital

Schools here were still in half day sessions, including the high school. Because some teachers worked only part time, that meant that afternoon high school students received no math classes, yet were required to take the year end math exams.

In the elementary level, although everything appeared normal, I personally believe it is impossible to teach an elementary curriculum in a half day, especially when each day also includes recess, snack time, 20 minutes of the Good Morning song played on the PA system, and the National Anthem.

Agree (half-day schooling). That sounds more like "child care " rather than schooling.
