OK... time for a Virus break.... RUM !!!

I was in the liquor store today... candy store for adults

Came across a DR rum -- Bacoo
comes in 5 - 8 & 12 yr varieties

Anybody tried it??
Priced low $20's to $30 for the 12 yr - in NY state

Brugal Anejo is on sale in PA for $15... $4 off

Never had Bacoo but my research suggests that it's quite popular. Eco friendly as well.

It’s probably all from the same distillery... I got an expensive gift from a Russian friend, some years ago. She appreciated me and my wife. A Cohiba rum. Later I found out it was over a 100€. Brugal.

It has rum on the label. How bad can it be Seriously how bad?
I bought a bottle of god knows what kinda of rum in Montana a few years ago. 1.75 liter bottle for 10.00 USD. It was not the greatest rum I ever had but after a few with coke it went down (and stayed down) quite well.

This was the most unique bottle of rum I ever tried. It was a gift from an ex brother in law. It was his way of thanking me for putting up with the family.

Last year Barcelo had a tasting booth in the clubhouse at Iberostar golf course. The had Leyenda and a new high end rum. I can't recall the name of the new one but it was one of the best rums I ever had and the lady serving it was not only drop dead gorgeous but extremely generous with the rum. In short the prefect woman.

Leyenda is sweet sweet rum that I enjoy on a hot weekend afternoon or at the beach with just a small ice cube to cool it down and open it up a bit. I keep a bottle on my shelf at all times.
My new goto sipper is Relicario Superior. Lots of flavor and it does not break the bank. My everyday sipper is Bermudez 1852. My favorite ron dominicano of all time is 1888 before they changed the formula. It is no longer available and I only have a pour or two more before it's all gone.:cry:

bacoo is great i finally got a couple of stores in sun city fla to carry it and thats all i will drink here

I am in the NY/PA area...

Brugal Anejo on sale for $15.99 ($4 off) and Kirk & Sweeney down $2 to $31.99
About equal to hi end Bacoo....

But my intake is such that it won't be long.........
