have friends vacationing in samana and wish to visit us in sosua. I don't see any caribe bus from there to here. Is there anyway other then taxi? any help appreciated...tom

there are regular bus trips... smaller ones , Tom... but with A/C.... comfortable.
I don't know the names.... Samana to POP, etc.... morning & afternoon if I recall

Default Bus Puerto Plata/ POP - Samana
Because there are only older threads, i need an update of the bus connections from Puerto Plata to Samana.
I know, that there is a bus leaving at 6.30 from Puerto Plata, stops at around 7.00 in Sosua and is heading to Samana.
Is there also a later bus?
FYI: the trip takes around 4 hours and from Samana to Puerto Plata there are at least two buses leaving from Samana at 10.00 am and 2.00 pm.
Bus station in Samana (for the PP bus) is next to Banco Popular at the Malecon.
Any info will be appreciated!

i called them and they leave samana at 8 am and 11 am, from parque in front of el muelle (i don't know samana, no idea where is that), 300 pesos each way, will stop in sosua.
