The Central Electoral Board (Junta Central Electoral, JCE), through its Procurement and Contracting Committee, has announced the final timeline for the award of the contract related to the production of the new Dominican Identity and Electoral ID card.

The opening of credentials, technical proposals, and samples (Envelope A), as well as the submission of economic proposals (Envelope B), will take place on 25 February 2025 at 10am. This process pertains to International Public Tender JCE-CCC-LPI-2024-0001, which is aimed at contracting the company responsible for supplying the necessary equipment, materials, and services for printing the new ID cards.

Additionally, the JCE stated that according to the activity schedule set by the Committee, following the opening of the technical proposals, a proof of concept phase will take place, with 15 business days...

That means the first bribery accusation will happen around March 15 and they will redo the entire thing on May 1.
