San Francisco de Macoris-
Does anyone know if there are hotels in this town. I'm going there in June and am having difficulty finding any info at all. Any leads would be appreciated.

Mick, there is a Hotel Jaya and some others but if your going there by bus (Caribe Tour) then you will be greeted by many taxi drivers and they will take you to one.SFM has a large park(corner of calle Castillo & Febrero 27) just a few blocks from the bus station and right next to the park is a nice hotel,can't remember the name of the place though.If the hotel across from the park is not what you are looking for then you can walk down calle Febrero 27 until you reach this address #20 which is a pension called Lucas,Lucia Guzman may have something for you.
