Santiago on Google Street View

Finally, Google took photos of almost all of Santiago and neighboring towns and rural areas. They also did the same for most of the Santo Domingo region with the entirety of the National District and much of the built up area of the province of Santo Domingo. This also includes most of the streets in Boca Chica. The photos are genuine Google ones, so the quality and focus are perfect. Its like being in the streets of those two urban centers without ever leaving home. lol Obviously, they will upload photos of the rest of the country, but they started with the two major urban centers, where most of the population lives.

Keep in mind that there are photos of third parties that appear ahead of the Google photos and they are of lesser quality in clearness, details, etc. This is more a problem in the National District where most of its streets were covered by them when Google photos didn't exist. In the province of Santo Domingo (including Boca Chica) this is less of a priblem.

The following are some Google photos from random places in Santiago.

Anyone that lives in Santiago should let themselves be known. Oh wait, that's not most people in this website. Next...

How so, and why not? It is a very valuable global resource.
I do not trust google and I do not trust the New World Order. I believe that the Wuhan Virus is more about controlling the populations than it is about a virus. Google Earth will eventually be live and a great system for the global elite to monitor the world....sound like a crazy conspiracy theory? Most of what I have predicted in the past has come to fruition.

While I do agree with your thoughts on the entity that is Google itself, I find the maps/Earth feature to be very helpful at times.
I think most visitors to strange places believe the same, and it has actually been beneficial to my safety in one or two hairy situations. Perhaps I am biased due to the amount of global traveling I am accustomed to.

I'm with you C-man, Google maps are very helpful, when GPS came out for civilian use, i was blown away.
pair that with street view, you got a powerful navigation aid, cant understate GPS's usefulness to the sailors out there.

it is cool to look at but will be used for no good.
People all over the world use Google Street View to see certain routes they are planning to take, where they should turn left or right and what it looks like, searching for homes they need to go but never visited, finding businesses and places they are planning to go, etc. I don't see why it will be any different in the DR. Comes in handy.

There are things that a map and/or a GPS will never show you while Street View does. Makes a person familiar with an area before they go there.

i just tend to think of you as a conceded jack A..

When you are finished with your unhealthy projections and cries for help, feel free to PM me, and I will kindly let you know what I tend to think of you. Aside from this, the thread lines within this web forum are foremost to me. More so than your trivial trolling, ad hom quips, and witless personal attacks.
Have a blessed day, and enjoy it as you so see fit.

I noticed they started showing different
areas of Santiago a few months ago. They
obviously started mapping it out prior to
the ChinaVirus as no one is wearing mask.
Ah... the good old days.

The other thing that can be done and not too many people seem to have noticed is that its possible to compare Santiago and Santo Domingo with other cities worldwide. From street infrastructure to architecture, people to parks, etc; it can be done with say Santiago and Lagos, Santo Domingo and Tokyo, etc in mere seconds apart. That's a speed that it can't be done by anyone in person.

I wonder if Google has pickups working on the streets of Port-au-Prince.
