I found a flight for $586, I arrive 11/25 (just in time for the turkey day bash, waiting for confirmation on reservations) I've been in touch with Rimma at www.sunnyvillaholidays.com and she's looking into Casa Linda and places in Cabarete for us. I think I'll take Kitemans advice and stay at www.villataina.com while we look around. (Thanks Kite) Ken, upon arrival I will contact you about the driver if needed, thanks for the referal. Any suggestions on buying a car? I'm thinking a used (2-3 yrs) Camry or similar. Any price guesstimates anyone? Any reputable dealers to recommend?

FWIW, Lomas Mirones does NOT have Flash. Wonder why since it is just across from SHR. We do have electric & cable though

That is one reason I doubted that CL had it. Who knows.

Been there done it just for kicks... Seahorse Ranch has several long term monthly rentals. The cheapest of whichs is $4,000 USD a month plus all utilities. For a 3br/3ba with pool (waterfall inside). I did not read the whole thread so I am sorry if I repeated any of this.
