Greetings!

My name is Sheena and Jessica and I are currently staying at the Casa Colonial in Puerto Plata this week. I leave on Saturday. Some of the workers here took us to a local place last night to dance where we had a lot of fun, but I didn't see very many salseros. Given, it WAS a Tuesday night. Is there anybody here that salsas that will be going out any time this week and can tell me where to go? Or, does anyone know where to go for good salsa here? They said the place I went to last night has their salsa night on Thursday. It think we'll check it out then for sure and will probably go there again Friday night, our last night here. Anyway, if you love to salsa and are in Puerto Plata, hit me up! The number for the hotel is (809) 320-3232 and we're staying in room 2.

Thanks!
Sheena

I too LOVE Salsa. Regretfully, I am not a good enough dancer to qualify as dancing partner for you (two?).
Sadly too, I don't seem to hear much Salsa being plaid, as too many locals are not really proficient at dancing it correctly. I even took lessons before moving here, hoping I would be able to expand on it quickly once here... I only mostly found bachata and merengue dancing partners. It is only seldom, one would witness a good Salsa dancing couple.
I'd gladly also give you a ride around town and show you the different dancing places, but I am afraid, that by now you have been taken around already. If not, let me know if I can be of help.
