Monday to Friday the place is a ghost town, I personally cannot live in a place where I don't have neighbors most of the time... It just creeps me out and I feel extremly nervous outside of a resort.. I live in a pretty rough neighborhood in Santo Domingo, and have never gotten that creepy crawly feeling I get from Juan Dolio..It's sad too, because JD would be the perfect place to live..on the beach, not too far or too close from La Capi..I hope things change in Juan Dolio in the future.

To me,just the fact that you are asking these questions, should let you know that you don't feel totally safe and that you're not making a wise decision in where to move.
* a wall you can climb
* no security guard
* no security bars

Open your eyes, and look elsewhere.. AND NO BALCONY!!! That would be totally the pits!
