I just said Sosua Abajo since that's the closest you are to civilization. I know people here in Cabarete for years that have never heard of Maranatha. I thought it was mostly barrios up there(?). Never been up there myself.

Yes, barrio. The main street is horrible to transit on, too narrow for 2 way traffic when everyone is parking on the side of the road.
Whenever my family and I go to the river that lies beyond Maranatha, I prefer taking the long road up the mountain, just to not have to go through Maranatha. One mayor reason why I wouldn't voluntarily live there, and everything very crowded.

Very true, but why would a lot less than half the size in a barrio and nowhere near the beach be worth twice as much? Plus, the north coast of the DR is the Atlantic - not the Caribbean.

And the Hills of Sosua AIN'T a Beach Front VIEW Condo, which would get you $500K+ easily

If you want to get out of level 9 on the stress barometer would it be possible to give it away, maybe to a charity? It doesn't sound like you are getting a lot of bux in the end and maybe (depending on what country you pay taxes) you can get a tax deduction. If not, perhaps you can find peace and live an extra 10 years. STRESS KILLS.On par with many other ways to dies.
