Muchas personas nos han escrito cuestionando el porque este medio no a escrito nada sobre la situaci?n acontecida en el Parqueo de la Plaza del Downtown Punta Cana, justamente en frente de la disco Coco Bongo. Ahora les diremos el porque no hemos opinado...
B?varo Digital es un medio que a buscado llevar las informaciones de todo lo que acontece en B?varo Punta Cana, como una forma de buscar SOLUCIONES a las mismas. Nuestras incontables denuncias a veces hasta jocosas as? lo demuestran. Un hecho como este que me averg?enza en su totalidad, pues fueron unos dominicanos que provocaron esta situaci?n no es meritorio que lo subamos y mas por que personas inocentes pagaron por culpa de IGNORANTES que creen que son due?os del mundo. Nosotros REPUDIAMOS esta acci?n realizada donde ademas diferentes medios QUE SIN SABER NADA publican "versiones" solo para lograr "raiting" y no se paran a pensar el da?o tan grande que les hacen al turismo de nuestro pa?s. Los comercios de la zona de B?varo se quejan de que los turistas no salen de los hoteles, pero yo me pregunto....como van a salir si nosotros mismos provocamos que no lo hagan, a trav?s de acciones como la pasada en el PARQUEO de Coco Bongo y con una prensa AMARILLISTA que en vez de lograr llevar una noticia "Ver?dica" y bien lograda, llevan una noticia "distorsionada" del hecho?. La noticia como periodistas debemos de hacerla, pero no de una forma de da?ar la imagen de alguien o algo que esta beneficiando a cientos de hogares de B?varo.

Confirms my opinion of this "journalist" - WTF does he think he is kidding?

I've been of the opinion for awhile now that maybe it isn't a great idea to give these spree shooters and wanna-be thugs their 15 minutes of fame. Sure report a shooting where people have been injured in a concise way and then ignore the story until after the trial and then announce the sentence.

This 24hr/day coverage on TV or repeated mention in other media may be counter productive. Even the terrorists will have to rethink their approach if the world no longer covers their atrocities ad nausea. Sure the public needs to be informed, but without large scale ongoing publicity, the effect will be much less terror in the hearts and minds of the populace and reduces the terrorists to just another antisocial group with an agenda that we have chosen not to validate.

Time to begin weening the Dominican population off it's apparent need for daily gore and salaciousness.

the Dominican population likes its daily gore and salaciousness. that is why they have tabloids like Sucesos. leave them alone to enjoy their customs. enough of this goddam regime change crap, bringing civilization to the heathen. they do not need to be weaned off anything. that is what they like. another thing they like is not to be told how to live their lives.
