Decree 600-24 shuffles several diplomats, Diario Libre reports.

Ada Francisca de Asís Hernández Rivera as the new ambassador and permanent representative to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the International Fund for Agricultural Development 2 (IFAD). She replaces Mario Arvelo Caamaño in these roles. Veteran diplomat Arvelo Caamaño has been returned to the Dominican Republic to serve a term at the Ministry of Foreign Relations.

In a related move, Manuel Eugenio Félix Matos has been named as the alternate ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), succeeding Hernández Rivera in this position.
