In an interview with the Listin Diario, the director general of Procurement Agency (DGCP), Carlos Pimentel said prosecutors are advancing on the investigations into the traffic light major corruption case that had months or years in happening and was only stopped when private contractors went at war among themselves.

In the interview with Listin Diario, on the Transcore Latam contract, Pimentel said: “We are convinced that the company Transcore Latam does not have the slightest possibility of collecting a cent from that contract, because there are five decisions behind the suspension of that contract.”

Meanwhile, in the National District, the supposed smart traffic lights are being installed. Nevertheless, Digesett traffic agents direct traffic instead and the city is under the siege of intense traffic jams.
