Sosua: Did some ladron get shot 3 or 4 nights ago?

Seems like a rumor, or can anyone confirm this:

Some ladron did supposedly get shot dead in front of the Super Super / Banco del Progresso at around 9PM.

I heard this first about 3 days ago...

Heard the same story last week while in town

but to kill any chance of spreading another rumor I will only say that if some ladrone got shot then good riddance. There are still more of them out there so donate more bullets.

Maybe the folks in town have something to offer.

I heard about this (was in Sosua last week) at the airport.

As told:

- Thursday evening at bank ATM beside SuperSuper.
- attempted mugging (ATM at bank); 2 landrones.
- undercover police shot first one dead (head) at bank.
- second one fled and was shot (body, legs) near Alligria (sp?) Bar.
- tossed in back of pick up and taken away; expired before hospital reached.

I saw nothing but was told and am only stating it now as it lends support to the OP.

Who cares if a thief was shot. The problem here is... so many ladrones, not enough bullets.
