Sosua Ocean Village life? Issues or anything?

I had a swim in the ocean last time I visited. The «beach» were tiny, I would guess 15m wide?
Nice to take a dip and feel the waves, no problem. Not sure if we are talking about the same thing, huge place.

They charge a reasonable entrance fee for visitors, very good pools/water parks.

There were at least a couple of violent issues of confrontation of the SOV security guards and Dominicans who came by boat to party there.

SoV is one of the best gated communities on the north coast. Lot of the nearby communities view home owners as ATM's and overcharge. At Sov, just the cheaper electricity will save you a boat load of cash. Don't worry about your daughter being harrassed which was one of the issues why we didnt buy at another gated community near them.
