Don't knock Buffalo Wild Wings until you have tried them...lol. I have only picked up wings there, I have never actually eaten inside so I do not really know how the experience is. Pick up is the only experience I have had with Buffalo Wild Wings. Hard Rock is not my thing. I tried the food some years ago and was not impressed. The atmosphere at places like the Hard Rock I do not like that much, too noisy, etc. Little Caesars, I may have had their pizza before, but I am not a big pizza person.
well my lady. I am sure I am going to take some heat. However, there comes a time in every man's life when he stops going to burger joints and swilling beer with saucy chicken wings. For me the metamorphosis occurred shortly after college. As far as pizza goes, Tuva on Sarasota has an elegant looking pizza, I have never had it as I have the carpaccio and salmon with a pinot noir. One of the main reasons I have ghosted Sosua is the dining options have all but vanished.

Pervert! Never red wine with salmon. Never carpaccio with salmon. Where were these gross manners learned… Go wash with palate cleanser!

I won't be surprised with a Popeye's in Sosua or a Little Caesars. Both franchises are quickly expanding in the country for the last 24 months.
Subway - I've been to them in Santiago, Bavaro, Punta Cana. And I'm sure they are in Santo Domingo and probably elsewhere. They all seem successful.

Only 3 HRCs in the DR, if including the planned one in Sosua. If they were to put one in Puerto Plata, I might (emphasis on might) go one time, but it's really not a big deal to me. Put in a Buffalo Wild Wings, and I'd go a couple times during the American football season
Perhaps 3 of the restaurant types, but there are more when the shops are included.

I have been to Hard Rock Cafes as I am sure many of you have. You go once, you never go again. They are way over priced. The food is ok but damn the drinks cost an arm and a leg. I met Angus Young briefly in the Toronto location many years back. That was the only thrill. I have a glass.
He was probably recording an album there.
The last couple of AC/DC albums have been done there.
He has a house in the Netherlands here in a very small town where his wife is from.
I always say Angus is an inexhaustible source of energy.
They should just hook him up to the power grid and the whole energy crisis would be solved!

Nothing shouts 3rd Rate Travel Destination like the the breathless announcement that a Hard Rock Cafe is "coming soon". Glad it won't be in Cabarete!

So I guess we don't need to debate whether ranch or blue cheese dressing is best for dipping those wings! Keep on enjoying swilling your wine with that salmon.

With all the street corners sellers of Viagra & Cialis and now also a liquid drink, for the ladies libido, I think it will turn into a Rock Hard Café

BWW can be a little boisterous at times. Maybe have a drink the next time you pick up some wings and see what you think about the atmosphere

Au Contraire Mon Frere, Pinot Noir and Salmon is the gold standard.

Cabarete, DR
I am guessing K LO K or something like that. Beside Pyramid apartments.
Sorry, I should have clarified. It is a small bar/lounge near Banco Popular in Sosua.

One of these sellers gave me one of those drink capsules......fine print on the bottle: Silnadefil Nitrate...i.e. it is just liquid Viagra...

I didn’t know Cancun was a “3rd Rate Travel Destination.” They also have a full fledge Planet Hollywood resort, nevermind a restaurant. Oh noooo…

PS. The Planet Hollywood slated for Punta Bergantín will be a restaurant or a resort?

:You can't make a living here selling Dominicans food that is not fried..........
Since when Subway sells “Dominican food?”

Taco Bell doesn’t sell fried anything or even “Dominican food.” Have any Taco Bell in the DR closed shop?

I hardly disagree.

Franchises (fried food or not) are having a good time the last 5 years with strong expansion nationwide. Subway, on the other side, has been struggling thanks to its lack of consistency (promotions, delivery, and food quality) in the DR.

Just take an example of Green Bowl (a Dominican version of Chipotle) which is expanding so fast that people in Santo Domingo actually make long lines just to buy salad bowls https://www.instagram.com/greenbowleatsalad/
