I am not looking to change the country... Maybe just to help him. But I am not going to stay at his place....ugh!! I rent a nice condo with hot water and windows, unlike his "apartment" without hot water, a litchen or windows...and I help pay for his english classes so he can build his business (computer and telephone repair).

When I am here, I pay... Well, actually, I slip him the $rd in cash before we go out so he can feel like a man and pay when we go out.... This is a guy who used to work at an AI and now is working hard to work for himself. If I can treat him when I am here, why not?? It may not mean a lot in the grand scheme... But he sure enjoys it ;) and so do I.

I'm just saying how do you expect her to progress in life, to want to better herself if you are giving her everything she asks for?.
maybe then she'll consider getting an education? ...or is that a far off thought?.

It is nice for a woman to say it how it is for a change rather than these made up excuses some come with. Well done you, life is easier when you know what is going on, and in the end people respect you more for it.

she would not recognize 5 star meal even if it was barfed all over her weave :) give her pollo frito and she will be happy, i say...

the OP should see dating dominican chicas as something coming really cheap. a high class girl would want theater and then good restaurant, poor dominican chica only wants plato del dia and few hundred pesos to do her nails. you are still saving big time!
