I want to write in Spanish. So I am doing it now.

Doesn't work at all, whichever alt key I press, or control/alt and not a gr in sight

so you should be english american international - you will find your @ sign moves to the " sign but you should be able to type in spanish by pressing your gr key and the letter that needs the accent at the same tim? or by pressing the letter and the comma under the @ sign at the same time - this is presuming you have vista lol

Here it is.

Sorry about picture quality but camera has died so am using webcam. I tried Rockys list. Looked fab but I just got a lot of pinging from the computer. I do not have a number pad - just the numbers at the top. Anyway a link from the website he sent showed me how to get more characters in Vista so maybe I can do it from that. So this has been a useful exercise, but now I am very upset I do not have a Gr key if everyone else has them.

is that a one or an l.

If it is a one then it is a three of course. If it is the letter l then it is an apostrophe underneath and quotation marks on the top.

If a tilde is some name for a female body part which I have never heard of then I am not telling you, and if it is a computer key - no bloody idea
