Starlink Arrived in the DR
Please let us know how much you like or dislike the service after you've had it for awhile.
I got an email from them today as well saying Starlink is now available for the entire island.
They'll ship it to the address you enter, I'm sure.
When I accessed the site, the numbers I got were pesos: 38900 for the equipment, 7080 monthly for the service. Ouch.
It's your Dominican business tax license # if you have one. If you don't just use one from any receipt you get as no one will every marry them up.
I just tried to confirm my order and failed. I don't have an RNC, but my wife does with her business, but that didn't work. In the end, I entered eight zeros as the RNC and it accepted it. But the payment failed. It said" something went wrong on our end, please wait and try again"

Yes way too expensive for most people in this country. Also, will the dish work properly on a cloudy day? Upload and download speeds are good, but wifi doesn't provide the stability that an internet cable does. I'll stick with fiber. I hated my Bell express vu dish back in Canada.
It does seem to be affected by rain, but still a good speed.
As an additional service, in places where there is no infra available I bet is is very usefull. In the city of SDQ I'll stay with Altice.

It wont accept my address, says its not right. How did you get your address accepted?
