The instructions are pretty clear and simple. Go to Youtube and search for starlink installations and you'll get all of your questions answered (and then some).
Bottom line is you can put the dish just about anywhere as long as it has a good view of the sky.
You'll see folks who set it up on their lawn or on top of a barrel. Anything solid.
Correct. The plus code is a geographical location that tells the delivery folks the approximate location to deliver, the dish finds the best satellite by itself.
So those of you have it installed - how many downstream Cat 6 plugs are on the back of the Starling router ?
Download depend on position and time of the day, got up to 300 at one point, average is 140. You need to order a special adaptier if you need a LAN connection. In my case I have the adapter to connector a Mesh system because the Starlink router does not give good range.
Very happy with the service, installed it with a modified Claro Dish mount right in the roof.

On the new version, there are none. You need to buy the Starlink Ethernet adapter.
How many mesh routers and are they all wired with Cat cables to the adapter and a hub ?
Have only 3 mesh routers, first going to the Starlink Ethernet adapter and the other two are wireless. TP Link brand.
Yep, just don’t forget to order the adapter since the Starlink router does not have a port.
I do not have a starlink dish, so I'm probably not clear on all of this, but I seem to remember folks saying they got rid of the Starlink router altogether and substituted it with another brand.

I have repeaters in my home, but probably not the correct ones because my wifi signal is 220 Mbps but the repeaters are much, much less than that.
Yes, it needs the plus code or the current address.... actually , it uses longitude/latitude coordinates
I had mine delivered to Nagua and it won't look for the satellites without putting in my actual location.
They give you a map - you hit your location and done.
Need to change your address in the website.... delivery address is the default

I don’t know if you can substitute another router. My speed is around 150, and through a concrete wall it drops to about
60. Around 60 feet away at the pool, the speed is around 50. Whenever you add an extender, you will lose some speed.
As far as the location, when I set it up, I just moved the location on the map. Once you do that and plug it in, you just need to be patient while it finds a satellite. Maybe 15-30 minutes the first time. Sometimes a lot less. It is also downloading the latest software when you first install it, which is why I suspect you may not be able to use another brand of router. But I do not know for sure.
