You are correct in that the amount is 5.000 per person. Not household.
One household with 6 adults will bring in 30.000
Not all too uncommon here within RD.
You are entitled as well.
In the early stages fine, to assist.
Not to remain a life long crutch.

Incorrect.

Incorrect that a houshold can receive multiple 5,000 payments.

It's the household that qualifies for this help . And this is well known in the Dominican community. In fact if you are following any of the mainstream dominican newspapers online you will find a multitude of Dominicans complaining about this.
It's also why they use the words "family" and "household" and not "person" when describing "Quedate en Casa" program ( Stay at Home program)

Also , if you are one of the suspended workers and are getting partial pay in the FASE program you don't qualify for the payment.

No double dipping.

Agree with most of this but many many many prideful Dominicans on suspension for months and months collecting full wages with a huge smile on their faces.

This unfortunately, would be correct.
Can you provide examples?

Sorry to ruin your "gotcha" moment, but yes, it does indeed occur.
You are referring to "in theory".
I was referring to "in practice".
As we know, the two are very different, and this is the case regarding the payment for many.
The reason many are complaining is that they are fully aware of the difference between in theory, and in practice.
If you follow news here within RD you should be aware of this.

Well we were doing that but because of the opening of schools delayed and only virtual classes when it does open we have had to let some people go. They haven't worked since March and when you have no paying customers at some point you have to cut the fat. Severance payouts were well over a million pesos, but the dead wood is gone.

No gotcha moment, this is what you said and I was simple correcting an error for those that may have interest in the topic

And that is incorrect

It's 5,000 per household , not per person. And no there isn't rampant fraud in practice. In fact most of the complaints are about NOT being able to get the help because of the no double dipping.

I have had employees complain of that very problem, when they were getting Covid-19 unemployment assistance from FASE

Again, in theory, not practice.
Chrisgy, I am not going to participate in a tug of war regarding this topic with you, it is too nice of a day.
You are 1000% correct.
There is not one case of fraud occurring regarding the 5.000 payouts.
This payment is only limited to 1 per household.
And there is not one single case of more than one adult in a particular household receiving more than their allotted 1 payout in the entire RD. You win.
Enjoy your day, as you so see fit.
